Is METRACUT an alternative to tin snips?

Yes – and in many cases, the significantly more efficient solution.

While tin snips are suitable for individual cuts, METRACUT cuts the entire profile with just one lever action. The cut is perpendicular, clean, and repeatable. This saves time, effort, and rework, especially in series production.

Why is METRACUT better than cutting with scissors?

Cutting with scissors can deform or crush profiles. Cuts are often inaccurate.

METRACUT enables dimensionally stable, right-angled cuts without material distortion – ideal for professional and precise constructions.

Does the profile deform when cut?

No. Thanks to the guided cutting unit and the even power transmission, the profiles remain dimensionally stable and are cleanly separated.

Clearances for connection profiles are taken into account in the design.

Can serial cutting be carried out?

Yes. Thanks to the adjustable length stop, profiles can be cut to the same length with repeatable accuracy – without having to remeasure or mark them.
